World Pole Dance is a celebration of all styles of Pole Dance Sport and Fitness and an open championship featuring the best dancers from all over the world, who follow universally agreed rules of conduct and Code of Pole Dance & Exercise Practice and who share equal vision and values.

Our Values: To represent pole fitness as an accepted form of competitive sport and fitness with education and awareness of the athletic and artistic nature of pole dance through inspiring performance of the art and unique fitness style for a healthier positive lifestyle available to everyone.

2009's Miss Pole Dance World competition was held in the idyllic island of Jamaica,
April 19th ~ 26th 2009.
The wonderful team at Pole Passion had the daunting task of hosting representatives from
UK, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Germany, Russia, Canada & USA.
What a truly awesome job they did.  This was the most extrodinary week long event!
I was so proud to be a part of it.
With pole workshops, master classes, stretch & limbering classes held on the beach by sunset... Many many a laugh, lessons, dancing, crying and fun was had between kindred people; and new friendships forged!
Biggest congratulations go out to my new friends:
Felix Cane ...taking out 1st place
Jenyne Butterfly  ...2nd place
Alesia Vasmitzel ...3rd place
